The Vegan Market is a market where vegan food and goods makers can come to sell their creations.
• YOU don't have to be vegan to sell at the vegan market, but your products have to be vegan.
• No animal meat, dairy, honey, beeswax, silk, pearls, or leather. Nothing made from or by an animal.
• This market is intended for product and food makers only. No resellers or MLM companies.
• This is a rain or shine event at all locations!

Market Details:
The Vegan Market is held at two locations throughout 2023.
• Salem Indoor events - Old Town Hall, 32 Derby Square, Salem, Ma 01970
• Salem Outdoor events - Derby Square, Salem, Ma 01970
• Somerville - Arts at the Armory, 191 Highland Ave, Somerville, Ma 02143
Market Dates:
• April 15, Salem Old Town Hall, Salem. Indoor event.
• June 18, Salem Old Town Hall, Salem. Indoor AND outside event.
• September 16, Arts at the Armory, Somerville. Indoor event.
• September 23, Derby Square, Salem - This is an outdoor market, tents and
weights are required!
• December 10, Arts at the Armory, Somerville. Indoor event.
Each market runs from 11am - 4pm.
Fees:
Products Makers: $115
Food/beverage Makers: $165
Requirements:
• Permits are required for food vendors to sell in Salem and Somerville. Info for all permit requirements will be included in acceptance e-mail.
• Invoices will be sent upon acceptance. Invoices must be paid within 5 days or your space will be forfeited to the next vendor on the waitlist. The invoice payment confirms your space. Invoices MUST be paid before the food permit is issued. Please be sure you're aware of each city's permitting requirements before applying.
• The September 23rd event date is an outdoor market. 10x10 canopy tents are required for vending at this event date. Each leg of the tent must have 30 lb. weights attached.
• Limited electricity is provided for both indoor and outdoor events.
• Alcohol is not permitted to be sold at The Vegan Market.
• Open flames are not permitted at INDOOR or OUTDOOR events.
• The products you intend to sell at The Vegan Market MUST be 100% vegan.
• Each vendor is allotted a 6ft x 4ft space for indoor events and are required to provide your own set-up furniture/table/decor.
• If you need more than one space to suit your set-up, please indicate it below on the application. Limit 2 spaces per business. The vendor fee will apply to each space.
• Outdoor event space is 10x10 and will require a 10x10 tent with WHITE canopy and all set-up furniture/table/decor. 30 lb. tent weights will be required for each leg of the tent.
~ The Vegan Market is a curated event. Our goal is to create an exciting and accessible event for market-goers that provides variety throughout the year.

~ Applying to the market does not ensure acceptance into the market.
~ Vending at a previous market does not guarantee acceptance into a future market.
